Comfort Clinic

Seaway Valley Arabian Horse Association presents a Horse Comfort Clinic "Only when a horse is comfortable at work can they achieve their potential." Participants will learn about saddles (Western and English types), saddle pads, girths and bits. This is not a "heels down" type of clinic, it is a fun day where our sole objective is to make your horse more comfortable. Simple adjustments in your tack can improve your horse's collection, flexation, length of stride and overall happiness. The results can be very dramatic. Horses will be individually tested with the Impression Pad to determine how their saddle fits. We will examine the balance and placement of your saddle. If your saddle doesn't fit properly, you will have the opportunity to try a Custom Correction Pad, built to correct your saddle's fit. We will look at your girth (or cinch), it's positioning and tightness. Also what type of bit you use, it's action, positioning and size. ...we will talk tack! Be kind to your horse and learn about Horse Comfort... they'll love and reward you for it! Where: Emard Stables, 19073 South Branch Road, Williamstown, ONWhen: 5 March 2011 (horrid weather date of 26 March) All DayPricing: $75 with horse (max 12) and includes a friend, $25 to Audit (no horse)
